Bathroom Remodel

Ed's clients' bathroom was nearly twenty years old, and had problems - somewhere in the shower wall, there was a leak, and they could tell the floor was rotting under the tile.  The bathroom was large, but it was also dated - two of the walls were covered in mirrors, the tile was dark, and the shower had a sliding glass door, which they wanted to replace.

The shower tile had to be removed to repair the leaks, so they decided to completely re-do all the tile in the bathroom: to install lighter tile, remove the mirrors, and to paint the walls a pale celery green.  They chose a marble-patterned light-colored tile with real marble trim for the floor, shower and tub surround.  The photos below show the process.

Before

This is what the bathroom looked like before the renovation began.

Note: A large bathroom completely torn out and re-done to this spec can take two to three months to complete.
