Bathroom Tiling - In Process

Shower

The products most commonly used to line a shower - blueboard and Hardieboard - are both permeable by water, and can harbor mildew and mold, in addition to leaking.  Instead of either of those, Ed used Wedi board, which is totally waterproof and, when sealed properly, will never leak.

Roman Tub

The back and side walls are leveled before setting the tile.
The tile is set with spacers for the grout.
